The Family Magazine was a magazine issued in Cincinnati between 1836 and 1841.  The magazine, advertised as an “abstract of general knowledge”, with articles on science, health, life in America, as well as including stories and many interesting illustrations.  This is one of the best images from the journal, a detailed view of the city of Cincinnati from the north and produced by the early Cincinnati lithograph firm of Klauprech & Menzel.
