A very detailed map of Denver, “Compiled, Drawn and Published by The Rollandet Drafting & Blueprint Co.” This firm was found by Edward Rollandet, a Denver map publisher who issued a series of maps of Denver from about 1886 to 1905. Rollandet issued his maps in guides, as wall maps, and these medium sized “pocket maps” which were folded into paper covers (present) and sold for 50 cents. The map is excellent, its good size allowing for great detail. Streets, buildings, parks, creeks, rivers and lakes, canals, property owners, farms, and rail, cable, horsecar, and motor lines and much else is clearly presented. A very rare historical document of Denver near the end of the nineteenth century.
