“Map of Colorado.” Des Moines: The Kenyon Company, Inc., 1921. Separately issued, folding map with original Index and Shipper’s Guide. Cerograph with printed color. 13 1/4 x 17 1/2. Very good condition. Cover quite warn and interior present but loose.
A rare folding map of Colorado from 1921 by the Kenyon Company from Iowa. The map is primarily a transportation map, both for drivers and shippers. It shows (as stated on the cover) “the latest official census showing in complete form all Railroads, Cities, Towns, Post Offices, Rivers, Telegraph Stations, Money Order Post Offices and Chief Auto Roads [shown in green ink] also The name of the Railroads and Express Companies entering each Town and the Express Company doing business over each road.” An excellent picture of the state at the time.
